Microsoft, yesterday: "Visual Studio is getting achievements."

You know what Visual Studio really needs? Achievements.

I can think of a few good ones:

"Code wench": Write 100 lines of code.

"Code monkey": Write 1000 lines of code.

"Code robot": Write 10,000 lines of code.

"Code factory": Write 100,000 lines of code.

"Hello, world!": Write an entire program (>500 lines) that builds and runs.

"Master coder": Write an entire program (>500 lines) that builds and runs on the first try.

"I know code-fu": Write an entire program (>500 lines) that builds and runs with no warnings or errors on the first try.

"Where's Waldo?": Find a missing semi-colon.

"Mind trip": Write 100 lines of C++ code before realizing you're working with C#.

"School for the gifted": Write 100 lines of Visual Basic code before realizing you're working with C#.

"Screw you, Sun": Write a program in C#.

"All your base": Write a program that reads or writes data from an Access database.

Don't you think Microsoft should get on this for the next release of VS.Net?
