Ok, Mrs. Pickles took this political viewpoint test and I questioned the results it gave her. I decided to take it myself and see what it said. I think I disagree with its assessment.

Centrist

You scored 42% Personal Liberty and 57% Economic Liberty!

A centrist believes in moderate government intervention in both personal and economic matters. They tend to be somewhat ambiguous, as they may have the oppurtunity to pick the side of any group surrounding them on any given issue. They generally believe in a moderate social safety net and what they consider to be a balanced stance on personal liberty. Centrists tend to emphasize compromise and cooperation between partisan groups.

Idiot/Conspiracy Theory of the Day/Week/Month.

Ok, I promised myself I wouldn't lower my IQ any further by linking to idiots anymore, but this was just too good to pass up as a conspiracy theory.

Voices - Benedict XVI: Zionist Double Agent

That's right! The last 5 popes have been Zionist plants! You can tell because the Jewish-controlled media have loved the popes since 1958 (ha!) and hated those before.

Although, it really is sad that such blatant anti-semitism is still alive an well in the world today. And it's really ironic that it exists on a website that also hosts an article about how racism is still so prevalent in the US.

California Sues Every Resident.

SACRAMENTO, CA - On the heals of its recent lawsuit against auto manufacturers, the People's Republic of California has filed a lawsuit against every resident of the state, claiming the greenhouse gases emitted by people during natural biological processes have cost the state millions of dollars.

State Attorney General Bill Lockyer said the lawsuit filed in U.S. District Court in Northern California was the first of its kind to seek to hold people liable for the damages caused by their emissions.

According to Lockyer, the state is also considering suing any airline or airplane manufacturer which flies through California airspace; all electric utility companies that operate within the state; Chevron, Unocal, and Conoco-Philips oil refining companies; the California Association of Dairy Farmers; and termites.

Women of the World to Withhold Sex for Next Month.

Following a recent study that concluded men are on average about 4 IQ points more intelligent than women, a spokeswoman for every woman in the world announced that effective immediately, women would withhold all sex from their partners for at least a month.

In an official press conference representing all women, the spokeswoman said that, unless men apologized immediately for being smarter, they would be punished for "at least a month". According to the statement, by apologizing immediately, men may reduce the period of abstinence to as little as two weeks.

Men around the world could not be reached for comment. Flower shops and Chocolatiers worldwide have reported massive shortages of inventory.

F.U. News Contest, Take Two.

http://www.telltalegames.com/samandmax/comics/8372546

I, Joe Belland, may or may not (depending on my mood) mail a bag of marshmallows to whoever can create the funniest Sam & Max comic strip here.

Rules:
1) Make a funny Sam & Max comic strip.
2) Post the link in the comments (with some identifying signature, so I know who did it).
3) I may or may not choose the funniest one and mail that person marshmallows.
4) I am the sole judge of this contest. I determine what is objectively funny or not. If you disagree with me, it is not because you have a different opinion. It is not because you are wrong. It is because you are stupid for not being able to see what is objective fact.

Here. I'll get you started.

It's really hard to match Steve Purcell's wit.

(I'm only posting these so I can claim that I made the funniest one and keep the marshmallows for myself.)

Ocean Planet.

Pics from our trip there on Sunday.

More at Dork Knights of Dumbshire.

I'm now taking recommendations for a new digital camera. Mine spontaneously stopped working the other day. I would like something a little more professional than the Canon Powershot A70 (which was still a good camera, but bugged me because it could take up to 5 seconds to take a picture, guarenteeing that you would miss that one perfect shot). My dream camera is the Canon Digital Rebel XT. Perhaps a more budget-minded option that I'm considering would be something like the Powershot S3. Another thing that bugged me about the A70 was that it could not take pictures in anything less than full daylight without the flash, otherwise the picture would end up being too blurry. Also it tended to over-expose the picture if the flash was on.
