Then We Shall Fight in the Shade.

Stop what you are doing RIGHT NOW and watch this trailer.

2 out of 3 Unblinking Eyes agree: triple-wide with a porch.

(Note: the production company, Legendary Pictures, is the same company that made Batman Begins and is making the Warcraft movie.)

  2. I liked Batman Begins, though.
I think this one is going to have too much gratuitous blood spattering to let me sleep well afterwards, not having been raised with the usual gory repertoire of first-person shooters.

  3. Oh come on, Mrs. Pickles. We all know you wish Mr. Pickles dressed like the Spartans.

  6. Sounds like fun, but...
Well, the Spartans really weren't like US marines. The marines are citizen soldiers of a republic, subject to a separate political power. The Spartans were the government (totalitarian), and were more like the Soviet Spetznatz or the Nazi Sturmgruppen. They had a secret police that were just as nasty as the Gestapo. They didn't yell or expectorate much - their march into battle was quiet and deliberate, to the accompaniment of flutes. Scared the pants/tunics off the opposition.

Still might be worth seeing, though.
