What. The. Hell. Two completely different webcartoonists publishing cartoons about very similar subject matter on the same day at almost the same time.
I hear if you say "Munroe Kurtz" into a mirror five times, the ghost of teh interwebs will devour your soul.
Perhaps a a Friday the 13th related joke? I don't know much about the candyman movies or of the bloody mary thing, but maybe they are related by Friday the 13th.
