  1. He was getting a little testy there. I expected him to call in the goons to confiscate everybody's wi-fi devices.

How does the iPhone work in the real world with other wi-fi users around?

  2. For the most part, fine, so long as you don't have any WiFi-crushing baby monitors around.

However, AT&T has spent less on infrastructure development each year since the iPhone's release. They now lag far behind the other carriers on that front.

The only time I really had a problem with cell service was pre-iPhone. At Blizzcon last year, there were a few key moments (like after the keynote speech) where it was impossible to place a call or send a text message on the AT&T network from Anaheim convention center, because all the nerds and their iPhones were completely overloading the local cell towers.

  3. LOL! I see a major flaw in this.

Yet another reason not to own an iPhone? =p

  4. So how much does it cost to sell your soul to Steve Jobs?

My blackberry is severely limited. There are very few applications that are worth running on it. It basically a phone, with a good speakerphone, that can access my email (MS Exchange server), encrypted email, pair with MS Outlook, and use Google Maps.

And the GPS works everywhere EXCEPT Chicago. Never trust GPS in Chicago.

Do they have inertial navigation for Google maps yet?
