I Have Regained My Masculinity.

Ok, so I haven't slept well for the past couple months. The reason? How could The Pickles minivan possibly be more powerful than my car? Why, cruel world, why?

Well, I finally did a little bit of checking and this is what I found:

2005 Pontiac G6 GT:
3425 lb curb weight / 202 hp = 16.96 lbs./hp

2007 Kia Sedona:
4387 lb. curb weight (standard) / 244 hp = 17.98 lbs./hp
4646 lb. curb weight (full option) / 244 hp = 19.04 lbs./hp

Vindicated! I rule! My car is still better! And if you don't believe me, check out these little tidbits from Cars.com.

2005 Pontiac G6 GT:
0-60 in 8.19 seconds (I have verified this)
1/4 mile in 16.05 seconds at 91.08 mph
Lateral Acceleration: .88g (again, verified by me on a routine basis)
Slalom: 61 mph

2006 Kia Sedona (no data for 2007, but the weight and engine specs are the same for both model years):
0-60 in 8.25 seconds
1/4 mile in 16.17 seconds at 88.60 mph
Lateral Acceleration: .74g
Slalom: 55 mph

I rule! I rule!

Plus, the '07 G6 GT now comes standard with a 3.5L 224 hp engine with an option for a 3.9L 240 hp and the GTP comes standard with a 3.6L 252 hp engine. Looks like I'll have to trade mine in to make it definitive who has the more powerful car.
